Groundwork Health was founded with the patient voice in mind, our vision is to enable equitable health outcomes for those whose voices have gone unheard for too long.

Clinical research is notoriously lacking in representing people from diverse backgrounds. This has a dangerous downstream effect on underrepresented populations, whose genetics could massively influence their reaction to a particular medicine. It also means that for diseases which disproportionately affect people of a specific racial background, will not have effective drugs developed to treat them.

Our diverse, passionate team of industry experts engage with communities directly to address the stereotypes associated with clinical trials, a big part of which is inviting, listening, building from their experiences and ideas, as well as engaging with caregivers and HCPs.

This helps us to support clinical trials with materials, engagement and recruitment efforts which resonate across cultures, languages, and lived experiences.
